Prestigious apartment located on the “Piano Nobile” of a wonderful 15th century palace overlooking the canal, in the heart of the Cannaregio district. The apartment has recently been restored, and the result is a harmonious fusion of modern Italian design and classic architectural elements, such as, for example, the traditional Venetian terrazzo flooring, the wooden ceiling and the trifora that illuminates the classic Venetian noble houses’ “portego”.

Portego del Drapier has a large living room that retains the traditional architecture feature of Venetian palaces, the “portego”, a reception hall with 20ft high original wood ceiling and glass chandeliers. A large “trifora” floor to ceiling window overlooks the Scuola Grande della Misericordia area and its magnificent palaces. The portego is furnished to provide guests with areas of relaxation: a beautiful marble dining table for 8 people, a sitting area with couches, coffee tables and chairs, and a TV area with lounge chairs. The furniture is a mix of modern and classic to enhance the timeless beauty of the space.

From the living area, guests access to the kitchen and the bedrooms. The large fully equipped kitchen has stainless steel furniture, a large kitchen island and a breakfast table for 4 people.

The sumptuous master suite has three floor to ceiling windows with balconies overlooking the canal and a Venini masterpiece chandelier; the master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with bathtub. The double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with shower. Each bedroom has an extra single sofa bed.

The apartment is in Cannaregio, one of the most authentic and lively areas of Venice. It is a 20-minute walk from the railway station and with a direct connection to the M. Polo airport (40 min) via the Alilaguna line service. Off the beaten track, but close to all the services in the area: it is located not far from Strada Nuova, the main street where you can find shops, supermarkets, bars and restaurants, and close to the famous fondamenta della Misericordia which is the best area for the happy hour...

A late check-in after 19:00 is possible at an additional cost: 35 euro from 19:00 to 22:30, 45 euro from 22:30 to 00:00, 60 euro from 00:00 to 1AM. After this time every 30 minutes will be asked another 50€ UNTIL MAX 2AM. IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO MAKE CHECK IN AFTER 2AM, NOT EVEN IN CASE OF UNFORESEEN DIFFICULTY.

After booking you will be asked to:

- fill out a form online with your personal information for mandatory registration to the PS;
- sign the rental contract and the summary of costs;
This has to be done no later than one week before your arrival.

The CITY TAX must be payed cash on arrival and it's not included in the cost of the stay. FULL PRICE: 4,00€ each person per night.
REDUCED PRICE: 2,00€ each person per night (aged between 10/15 years old).
FREE for children under 10 years old.

Check-out must be done within 10:00 am, it is not possible to leave the luggages in the apartment after 10:00am.
